Cross Country- Loup City
The Loup City Cross Country meet was a great success for the ECO Roadrunners. Even through the rain the ECO Roadrunners perservered and brought home many medals. The boys ended first overall as a team with 29 points, with Riley Nichols (EC) placing 2nd, Morgan Wallace (O) placing 7th, Jaydn Ford (EC) placing 9th and Wyatt Kennicutt (O) placing 25th. The girls came out second in team points, with Nicole Weimers (EC) placing 2nd, Peyton Zimmerman (O) placing 5th, Audrey Worthing (EC) placing 18th and Shyanne Potter (O) placing 20th. We also had many Junior High Athletes compete from Elm Creek who placed 3rd, 7th, and 9th in boys and 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 6th in girls. All the students improved on their times from Gibbon and showed great enthusiasm to compete and achieve their goals.
