Overton has went back to Class D1 and has obtained a new district assignment for next year. Our district next year will consist of:
- Amherst
- Ravenna
- Elm Creek
- South Loup
Many of the same teams that we have played in the past and are closer than the teams from the past two years. Ravenna is new to the 8-man world, coming down from Class C. Though Overton has played them in basketball, they have never met on the gridrion.
The schedule for next year has many of the traditional teams that Overton has played in the past. Area teams that are close and exciting to go to. We did obtain a team that we have played in the past, but it was during the semi-finals of the state playoffs. Hemingford will be coming here next year and thus us going there in two years.
