Hi, I am the k-12 art teacher, and Junior class sponsor. I have been married 15 years and have two wonderful children, three cats, and one dog. I have my BA and Masters degrees through UNK and I am in my 18th year of teaching, it's my third year with Overton Public Schools. I thoroughly enjoy teaching all the grade levels and watching and aiding in their creative development. In elementary the curriculum focuses on learning the elements of art and experiencing a variety of mediums. Junior High also focuses on the elements but we work towards developing skill and techniques of the mediums. High school is more advanced and we work on pencil, colored pencil, acrylic, watercolor, and clay to name a few. I am excited to add stained glass to the mediums that my students will be learning/experiencing this year.
