Cross Country Districts in Ogallala

The ECO Roadrunners came out strong in Ogallala with hopes of being state bound.  Unforunately  many of them did not reach this but did receive personal bests for the year.  Reaching thier goals proved difficulut considering our district contained six of the top ten ranked class C teams in Nebraska.  One ECO runner did reach his goal and made it to state with a 7th place finish and that was Riley Nichols (EC) with a time of 17:38.  He will be competing at the state meet in Kearney on Friday 10/23.  The ECO ladies did compete very well with Peyton Zimmerman (O) getting 26th with a personal best time of 22:33, Nicole Wiemers (EC) got 28th with 23:10, Paige Cure (EC)  got 32nd with a time of 23:55,  Amaris Crandall  (O) received 41st with a time of 25:53, Diana Perdomo got 45th with a time of 27:32, and Audrey Worthing (EC) got 48th with a time of 31:38.  The ECO guys also received a lot of personal bests, with Riley Nichols (EC) getting 7th with a time of 17:38, Morgan Wallace (O) receiving 39th with a time of 19:51, Jayden Ford getting 47th with a time of 20:33, and Wyatt Kennicutt getting 64th with a time of 25:11.  We are so proud of our ECO Roadrunners and how they came out and competed this first year together.
